The foundation

About us

A foundation born from the conviction that all people deserve the opportunity to reach their goals

Our story

ARAM was born from the commitment of a group of people moved by social justice and the values of the Gospel. The name ARAM, which in Aramaic means 'high place' or 'elevated', reflects our aspiration: to lift those who need it most, building bridges between human potential and real opportunities.

Mission

To work for the integral development of people and communities in vulnerable situations, promoting their autonomy, dignity and well-being in accordance with the ethical and moral principles of its Christian nature.

Vision

A world where every person has access to the opportunities needed to fully develop and contribute to their community with dignity and hope.

Principles

Values

Faith and solidarity

We act driven by the values of the Gospel: love for others, social justice and ethical responsibility towards the common good.

We attend to the whole person across all dimensions: food, education, healthcare, environment and spiritual growth.

Human dignity

We recognise the inherent dignity of every person and work so that all may live a full and free life.

Active commitment

We transform realities with concrete projects, accompanying those most in need towards a dignified life.

Transparency

We are rigorously accountable to beneficiaries, donors and society, publishing our accounts annually.
